In an ongoing effort to build a coalition of designers committed to giving back to children with their talents, we are honored to announce our very first chapter affiliate (our pilot program) in Mobile, AL.

Give a warm, savvy welcome to Chapter President, Caitlyn Waite of Caitlyn Waite Designs. Here's a little more about Caitlyn Waite and her passion for joining us here.

Caitlyn's Story:

"My name is Caitlyn Waite and I am a 28 year old Interior Designer based out of Mobile, Alabama. I graduated from CIDA accredited and top ranked Auburn University in 2011 with an Interior Design degree. I have been working in the field ever since and have my own clients as well as clients with a local builder that I have teamed up with to help give his projects more of a "millennial touch" as he calls it.  They are a designers dream and complete every job with impeccable attention to detail.

I first fell in love with the idea of bringing your incredible organization to my state when I discovered you on Ivy and listened to your Podcast with LuAnn! It was honestly an answer to prayer! I have always wanted to utilize my skills to bless others and your mission statement hit so close to home. I lost my mother to her battle with stomach cancer when I was 16 years old. She was my best friend and who I received all my creativity from. Working in this capacity for children who are fighting the same fight that she fought would be such an honor and a privilege and honestly a great way to carry on her legacy. I know that if we dream the dream we can make it a reality. I know probably everyone says that, but it would literally be an honor."
